Hilti TE 30-A36 Cordless Combihammer Drill: New Product News

November 15th, 2013

Hilti TE 30-A36 CombihammerProduct engineer’s at Hilti recently unveiled another industry first:  the TE 30-A36 cordless combihammer drill.  Featuring a drilling range of 1/4” -1” diameter with SDS+ (TE-C) drill bits, and up to 3-1/2” using percussion core bits, the Hilti TE 30-A36 Combihammer drills and chips into concrete up to 40% faster than the largest commercially available SDS corded tools. This lightning fast speed is made possible thanks to design features that include a high efficiency brushless motor and higher mass hammering mechanism. The TE 30-A36 Combihammer’s new 36 volt, 6.0 amp hour battery  handles more than double the work load per charge when compared to other battery packs on the market.  Cordless technology means contractors can say good-bye to extension cords and compressors without compromising on power.

This new cordless solution delivers a single impact energy of 2.7 ft-lbs and a full hammering frequency of 4,500 impacts per minute—rivaling its corded counterpart. Hilti product engineers have also included the Active Torque Control (ATC) system for increased operator protection if a bit binds while drilling and active vibration reduction (AVR) for improved comfort and productivity.  If all of this sounds too good to be true and you are still skeptical, check out the video below…..
